Cradled in the world of Gharnati music, Samir Toumi refined his strings with the master Sidi Ahmed Serri, then professor at El Djazaïriya – El Mossiliya. Samir Toumi masters the Arab-Andalusian musical heritage, with the rigor and passion inherited from his masters. Performing as well in Morocco as in France or in Algeria, Samir Toumi is a safe bet of the traditional Maghrebi musical heritage.
Sanaa Marahati represents the new generation of Moroccan Melhoun singers and Gharnati music. Born in Sefrou and trained at the Conservatory of Music, Sanaa has released six albums to date. She participates very often in TV shows dedicated to Melhoun and Andalusian music and also performs in prestigious festivals in Morocco and abroad.
