The Successful actress and singer, Demi Lovato on the OLM stage on May 19th

Rabat, on Tuesday, March 21th 2017: True to its passion for multi-talented artists, Mawazine announces the programming of the exceptional Demi Lovato, a successful actress and singer, who will perform on the OLM stage on Friday, May 19th.

Demi Lovato is a singer, songwriter, actress, advocate, philanthropist, and business woman. In addition, she’s one of the biggest names on social media, with an engaged following that includes over 37 million Twitter followers, 43 million Instagram followers, and over 38 million fans on Facebook.

The multi-platinum selling recording artist’s highly-anticipated fifth studio album, CONFIDENT, was released in 2015. Within hours of the release of the first single, “Cool for the Summer”, the anthem trended worldwide and hit #1 on iTunes in 37 countries. Her previous album, 2013’s DEMI, hit #1 on iTunes in over 50 countries around the world – with the lead single “Heart Attack” earning Platinum status just ten weeks after its release. “Heart Attack” was followed by the top 5 radio smash and platinum single “Neon Lights,” and her top 10 single “Really Don’t Care”. The album supported two headlining tours (NEON LIGHTS and DEMI WORLD TOUR) which made stops throughout North America, Europe, Asia, Australia and New Zealand.

Lovato will executive produce the music score and star as the female lead in the upcoming animated theatrical feature film, ‘Charming,’ as well as provide the voice of Smurfette in the upcoming animated film, ‘Smurfs: The Lost Village,’ releasing in April 2017.

As an advocate for youth, she serves as an official Ambassador for ‘We Day’ as well as ‘Free the Children’.
